Alas! My first posting

This is a ribbon rose brooch. Shown in this picture, I used 1 1/2 inches two-tone blue ribbon, cut into various lengths, and stitched into petal-like segments before assembling them together to form the rose.

This is a half-dozen bouquet of wild roses, made with ribbon and life-like stamen. Again, every petal and leaf was hand sewn by me and then bound together to form a stalk of wild rose. In a bouquet, it is an ideal gift for someone special, in a marriage proposal or birthday celebration. With other variation of roses, it can become a bridal hand bouquet. What's more, it can become a keepsake because it lasts forever!

  1. Recently, while attending BWM's annual meeting in Wisconsin, I was pleasantly surprised to see Mrs. Connie Poorman wearing one of your ribbon flowers on her blue denim jacket. It was absolutely stunning - as it pulled the colors of her skirt into the entire outfit and made her look really "classy". You need to have her send you a photo of that outfit.

  2. Dear April, now I know the bookmarks are created in my honour.I would like to buy 2 of these lovely bookmarks for my favorite books, The Pilgrim Progress and To Kill a MockingBird. I would like the maroon and the turquoise colours ones.
